Directions
These are three easy to assemble dips, each with a unique flavour. They can be used to welcome your guests as an appetizer, or a delicious snack to take to work.
Fresh veggies can be cut up and stored in a container with a paper towel dipped into cold water (moist, not wet) to keep them crisp. Package a handful of vegetables, with a small container of dip, as a high fibre, easy to assemble snack.
My personal favourites for fresh veggies are:
- celery sticks
- julienne carrots (real ones, not baby carrots. They have this white film and there is something about them that is a bit odd)
- sliced peppers (green, red, yellow, and/or orange taste great. FYI purple peppers taste like green peppers)
- sliced mushrooms
- cauliflower and/or broccoli
- thick slices of cucumber
- tomatoes (the little grape or cherry kind)
