Mac & Cheese
For those of us who prefer to make our own and leave out the perservatives:
- 6-8 cups of cooked macaroni
- 3 Tbs butter or margarine
- 2 cups skim milk
- 1 cup each: marble and sharp chddar cheese, shredded
- handful of bread crumbs
This is very simple to make:
- Cook macaroni
- Make roux with the butter and flour over medium heat
- Add milk and simmer until thickened
- Add cheese and macaroni in greased casserole dish
- Top with breadcrumbs and meted butter. Bake for 30 min for 350F
