Inventory for Today
I have been busy! I started at 9am and I had so much fun!
- I finished a batch of green-tomato relish that had been “drying” in pickling salts
- made my first ever turkey stock in jars a la pressure canner
- tried my hand at salsa verde using green tomatoes
- started the prep work for more pies in jars that I will finish off tomorrow
I also made homemade cranberry chutney in anticipation of Thanksgiving next weekend. Getting close to being done (i.e. running out of jars and shelf space) but so excited to share the bounty at Christmas. Stay tuned for the recipes.
In the meantime, I am tired and off to bed. Good night 🙂
