Chocolate Race
I may have mentioned before that I signed up for a 5km run – my first ever mini marathon. Training hasn’t been going too great, but okay. Still, it’s important because this is “The Chocolate Race in Port Dalhousie”. That’s right – there are chocolate stations (and first aid) along the route (insert giant happy face here).
Last week, the organizers released their blog: Sweet Carma-O: a little Chocolate + a hot training & we’ve got ourselves a city slickin’ Running writer! Oh, it was funny. Her first post was about how her belly jiggled when she was doing some training exercises:
We moved on to some coordination exercises. As I sidestepped my way through some pylons, I realized that, the really strange sensation I was having in my abdomen was a stomach roll jiggling!!!! To be honest I think what it really was, was all of the chicken balls coming together and rolling around my stomach like a hula hoop as I side stepped!!!! If we could put a nice chime in them…I think it would all be very soothing. It was official, not only am I out of shape, I am fat!
I honestly copied half this blog into MSN to send to Steve; I was laughing so hard, so of course I had to share! We are also signing up for one of the wine tours the day before the race » Super excited! Must run more (and faster) ….
