Holiday gathering meal idea
What a great idea! I came across this recipe book on SparkPeople. It’s a three-course Thanksgiving or Christmas meal (not including the desserts) that has a per person serving size of 500 calories! You’ll want to browse through to get your shopping list ready in time for the 23rd (cause there will be slim pickings after that):
- Herb roasted turkey
- Apple cider gravy
- Cranberry relish
- Roasted root vegetables
- Roasted squash soup
- Vegetable and fruit stuffing
- Sweet potato tarts with homemade pumpkin pie spice
- Mini apple tarts
