Hummus
This is my favourite recipe. Great snack on pita, with vegetables, or on a cracker:
- 2 tsp cumin
- garlic cloves (2 fresh, or 4 roasted, or 1 tsp powder)
- can of chickpeas, drained
- 2 Tbs lemon juice
- 2 Tbs tahini, or plain yogurt
- roasted red peppers, drained and chopped (optional)
Place all ingredients in processor until smooth. It makes 1½ cups.
