New Year's Resolutions to Results in 2017

There have been years in my life marked only by birthdays and holidays, and others that I can still recall with clarity. For me, 2016 was a year of closure. We finished a major renovation and have almost finished putting the rest of the house back to normal. I also wrote my first eBook and became a certified nutrition coach.

One of my friends felt the same – she finished a complicated knitting project that has been on the go for over 2 years and finally resolved a long-standing dispute at work. Another signed up for a course that is going to be life changing.

I know 2016 was also a difficult year for many. A year of loss – of a parent, a business, a job, a beloved celebrity icon. I keep hearing “2017 has got to be better!!”

And I believe it can be.

The New Year is a time of reflection on what has passed, but more importantly of imagining the possibilities that can happen. Deciding on New Year’s Resolution(s) can be an exercise of hope and joy.

The process typically ends with a statement of affirmation. Do any of these resonate with you?

I’m going to be healthier this year.
I’m going to lose 20 lbs.
I’m going to spend more time with friends & family.
I’m going to be more relaxed and less stressed.

They are all good things to want more of in your life. The question that I have is – how will you make it happen? What’s the plan?

No matter what you’d like to change or achieve in the New Year, the secrets to success are the same…

#1: Get clear.

As specifically as possible, decide what you want. The more clear you are on what you want to have in your life, the more likely you are to achieve it.

#2: Get perspective.

Most people don’t tell anyone what they want or what they are struggling with and because of that they don’t get an outside perspective.

#3: Get support.

Very few people (if any) achieve anything great alone. Sports stars have teammates and coaches.  Be willing to ask the people in your life to support you.

If you want to speed up your success rate, then I’d like to help you do it with a special one-on-one personal “New Year’s Resolutions To Results” coaching session where we’ll work together to…

> Create a crystal clear vision for ‘ultimate success’ so you know exactly what you want, where you’re headed, and what you need to do to make it happen in 2017.
