I’m back
I haven’t posted in ages … today is a holiday, and I am sick with a vicious cold. Why are these linked? I am on the couch today and not in the garden 🙂
I had an awesome chat with my cousin last night. She’s down to 130 lb, size 0 and struggling to maintain any body fat. Her eating is amazing, egg whites for breakfast, cucumber and carrot sticks as a mid-morning and late-afternoon snack, two chicken breasts with hot sauce & sautéed vegetables for lunch and similar for dinner plus a protein shake after the gym. She’s going 6-days a week and is up to about 200g protein and 25-35g fiber per day. I am so proud of her! It’s been about 8 weeks and she feels like she’d built of body armour!!
I on the other hand think about eating like that, and then don’t. I also plan to go to the gym, and then don’t. And now I’m sick with a nasty cold.
So this week I am writing out my meals, as I should. I’m starting with a sweet potato hash with an egg for breakfast, chicken salad over lettuce for lunch, turkey with roast veggies for dinner, home-made pumpkin pie for dessert.
