So happy
It’s raining. I was digging in the garden all weekend and most of last week (hence minimal cooking) and now my hard work is gettign the water it needs to take root!
This is the plan – it’s from Better Homes & Gardens. It will run along the edge of the sidewalk on one side of our house, which is 16′ long (I omitted the lambs ear, which I don’t like anyways). I am 3/4 finished 🙂 Behind it will go a veggie garden (prep this year and planting in the fall/spring). I’ve had to make a few substitutes (columbine for gas plant, iris for yucca and lavender for white peony) to use what I already have. Most of the cost was some ground cover at the front and mulch.
Super excited!
