Meaghan’s Macaroni

Meaghan says “I think I looked up how to make macaroni in a cook book but basically I took a blob or 1/4 cup of margerine (or butter), some milk about 1/4cup and some flour (I think 1Tbs) and melted all that in a pot. Then I shredded cheese into it until it looked melted. I poured it over cooked pasta and shredded more cheese on top. You could bake that for a bit and eat it with just cheese or add the meat and tomato sauce before baking. Oh I use regular marble cheddar because it’s all we buy but I’m sure you could get fancier cheeses too.”

I’m going to make this for Steve as a side dish once I can eat pasta again (or for his birthday). I’ll likely make it with a cream and sharp cheddar and put in a tsp of dijon.
