Best Beer … Stonehammer

One of the guys on Steve’s hockey team worked for marketing at Stonehammer, a pilsner by a craft brewery in Guelph. He would bring a mini-keg to each game and then send the unfinished beer home with one of the guys to finish. We received that honour over Thanksgiving. I have never drank such a smooth beer; I almost didn’t realize I was drinking it until I had finished 4 glasses!

It is now a special treat for us because they sell it at our local LCBO. I say a treat because it’s almost $13 for a 6-pack, but wow is it ever worth it. So why am I writing about this fantastic beer now and not this past fall, well because Steve surprised me and brought home some this weekend as a special treat. How lucky am I?!
