Make your own Taco Seasoning

This recipe will replace one packet of mexican seasoning, but I recommend you double or triple the recipe so you always have some on hand. As you can tell, I free hand this one, especially when making a batch of chili:

  • up to 1 Tbs each: cumin, onion powder, garlic powder
  • ½ t (or to taste) of one of these: red pepper flakes, chili powder and/or cayenne
  • 1 tsp ground white pepper

Combine and store in closed container out of the sunlight. Makes about ¼ cup.
