Happy New Year
Seems kinda silly that two major holidays are so close together, but then again, it helps use up all the left overs and makes for a great extended holiday 🙂
I’m not a true believer of the “new year’s resolution” philosophy, but all the same, I have decided to take up running as a hobby this year – to learn about how best to warm up/cool down, prevent knee and hip injuries, appropriate pace, etc. I am also going to try and complete 5km before work at least 3d/week so my days are free and clear of guilt or excuses! In combination, I will be continuing Taoist Tai Chi while reducing my sugar and caffeine intake and increasing my water to >1L per day. My ulterior motive is to increase my cardiovascular health and maybe gain some strength and flexibility (oh and loose that elusive 15 lb). What do you have planned for 2010?
