Variations for biscotti
I am planning to make homemade gifts this Christmas. I took the basic biscotti recipe and substituted cranberries and Macadamia nuts in place of the almonds and then drizzled them with melted white chocolate once cooled. I left in the vanilla extract and orange zest but no liqueur.
I also decided to tried making a batch with 1 cup of Meaghan’s dried apple slices and added ¾Tbs of pie spice in lieu of the orange zest and liqueur. I paired with apple butter in a gift basket.
