Phase I dinner casserole

Roast beast is so easy to make in the crockpot. For phase I, beef will likely be leaner and you can trim a lot of the fat. It is important to use water or broth, not wine. I included turnip, parsnips and onion (but no carrots, yams or potato) as part of the cooking process. Absolutely delicious and easy to reheat throughout the week.

This is now day three without sweets. Not as bad as I thought but I keep thinking of chocolate and I miss candy … but can you blame me? For my afternoon snack, I’ve sliced about ¼ cucumber or 2 stalks of celery. Not the same.
