Meaghan’s Tea Party
On February 8, Meaghan delighted us all with an invitation to her home for a tea party. Mom, Bonnie, Lexi and Allie came along with Laurie and Varyn, Meaghan’s friend Heather and her daughters.
Bless her heart, she spent over a month making individual Victorian-style paper boxes that housed home-made chocolates, decorated cupcakes filled with lemon curd, decorated sugar cookies made in a moulded pan, mini blueberry muffins, mini brownies, egg salad and tuna in mini croissants plus cucumber sandwiches on white bread with cream cheese and no crusts (my favourite).
I brought over a few loose teas and she got out her best china. It was a wonderful day, full of cheer and flowers!
