A plan to make a plan
I created this blog to get out of the funk of making the same food over-and-over again. I’ve since set a goal to post a weekly plan for fitness, food and inspiration.
Why? I believe that planning out the week prepares you in business and life. Here are a few reasons:
- You need to be fueled throughout the day and have daily movement to keep your joints and organs functioning, and your lymph system pumping. Without a plan, eating and exercise are the first items to fall off most people’s list.
- Knowing in advance where you’re going and what you have to do will save money on food.
- A weekly review enables you to prepare mentally and book time in your calendar to accomplish what needs to get done.
- A weekly plan is a direct way to connect 52 weeks with annual goals and build momentum.
- A weekly meal plan with a focus on batch-cooking will save time during the week.
- Posting weekly will keep me focussed on my own fitness and weight loss goals.
My Dad nicknamed me Brooke the Cook when I was little because I adored licking the spoons when Mom was baking. You can learn more about me here »
