Much harder than I thought

No nightshades (tomatoes, eggplant or peppers). No dairy (milk, yogurt or cheese). No gluten (bread, cereal, baked goods). No sugar (most things). No corn (tortillas).

Nightshades were a staple of my diet. Corn has been easier but I really miss salsa. My newest snack is lentil chips with hummus. Gluten has been a real challenge personally – much reduced but not fully eliminated, and sugar has been the hardest. There are sweeteners of some form in almost everything.

The disappointing part is that it’s been 4 weeks and so far I’m still breaking out into hives and having digestive issues. Next on the list are eggs.
