Beaujolais

I love France, especially their wines and cooking. In fact, this weekend Steve was watching the Quentin Tarantino film, Inglorious Bastards and while he was reading the sub-titles, I was following along from the kitchen. He was amazed, but it was set in France and for the most part, I could follow along.

Gillian and I have enjoyed a Beaujolais, 2008 by Mommessin. It comes in a 750mL bottle for under $10 and is Appellation Contrôlée. We enjoyed it so much at her place, she brought a bottle to our next dinner. I definitely recommend this one for dinner parties or a non-occasion evening at home over dinner.
