Jam Inventory
Yes, I’m nuts. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- strawberry rhubarb jam (9 half pints,plus a taster for us)
- orange marmalade (2 half pints, 10 small jars, plus a taster for us)
Weekend two:
- rhubarb jam made with lavender infused honey (10 small jars)
- strawberry raspberry jam (5 half pints and 3 small jars)
- strawberry, raspberry, black berry (triple berry) with lemon peel jam (six half pints, plus a taster for us)
- artisan sour cherry jam – ratio by mass (3 half pints; 2 half pints and 3 small jars in the 2nd batch)
- yellow tomato chutney – wow it made too much (21 half pints and 1 small jar)
- artisan bing cherry jam – ratio by volume (1 half pint and 1 small jar, plus a taster for us; although this one is all for me)
- mandarine orange segments (3 wide mouth half pints and 2 small jars)
Next is pickles (late-July), tomatoes and peaches (mid-August), (raspberries (early-September) and apples (October). I’ve promised Steve no more for now lol
