My first run

I did my first outside run in Waterdown – about 3km. I did 5 min alternating run/walk so I’d get used to the fresh air and not over stress my knee. It was really fun to look at all the house designs and gardens – particularly those with retaining walls. It ‘s something I am considering for my side flower garden.

This is the one I’ll try next week » It’s 5.3km, which is approx what I need to run in Chocolate Race this August (my first mini marathon).
