After all my planning, I didn’t do very well. The main meals this week were low carb (chicken salad and beef stew), but we had Steve’s family over on Monday – there was a fruit tray and baking left over – and one of the guys at work brought in these delicious chocolate cookies drizzled with Reese chips (hoping for the recipe, hint hint!).
The baking was dangerous (the spice cookies in particular) and the fruit had to be finished up before it went bad – cantaloupe, tangerines, pineapple and grapes. All on the no list! Better than before though re: carb-heavy cravings 🙂 This weekend I will be firmly sticking to the breakfast and snacks but we’re going up to visit his Dad so lunch and dinner will be unplanned – good choices, yes! Must remember ….
