Beauty Tips using Nature

Some tips from Allie on how she keeps herself beautiful without spending an exorbitant amount of money:

For your hair:

  • 2 avocado (unless it’s a huge honker and then just 1)
  • 2 eggs, beaten (or 1 if the avocado is really soft)
  • 1-2 Tbs olive oil

Mix into a soft paste and slather it all over your head starting at the roots. Massage it into the ends and scalp. Wrap in saran wrap and leave it for up to 1 hour.  Wash it out and then shampoo. Your hair will have absorbed the oils and may look “greasy” the first day, but it will be very soft and shiny thereafter.

For your skin:

Starting with ¼ c of white sugar, slowly mix in a few drops of water to make a thick paste. Rub it all over your face – best exfoliant ever! Also good for your legs and it has anti-bacterial properties to prevent acne.
