Salsa
Salsa is not a jam but I do like to make it. It is most commonly a tomato based preserve made with onions and pepper and seasoned with vinegar or lime juice. It tastes fantastic in all the traditional south-western dishes or on its own with tortilla chips. I had only one variety available this year and I’ll be making more each August:
