Jar Exchange
I am happy to share what’s in my pantry with you. My Facebook page has a list of what’s hot off the stove!
I don’t sell my jams commercially, but I ask for a contribution towards the cost of the ingredients and utilities to make a jar of jam or salsa, plus a $1 deposit on the jar and ring because these are reusable and I am a sustainability advocate. The total comes to $6 for jam or salsa, or $3 dollars for ½ cup sampler sizes.
The ordering process is simple.
1. Write to me and tell me what you’d like to order. My email is brooke@brookeandsteve.ca
2. I’ll confirm if I have it available and then we can arrange for drop-off.
Jar Exchange
I’ll give you a one-dollar credit for each jar you return to put towards your next purchase. A new lid is used for each jar to ensure it is sealed for freshness. Yes, I will trade jam for boxes of jars with rings – I prefer the ½ cup and 1 cup sizes.
I am very happy to trade my jars of jam for whatever you’ve made this season. Just let me know what size jars you used for canning so I can trade the equivalent amount of delicious ingredients.
I will also very gladly trade whatever kind of fruit/veg you have harvested from your garden or fruit tree, so we can both round out our pantry. I’ll share the batch with you based on yield and other ingredients costs that went into it.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Brooke
